Support Coordination

Goulburn Options has been providing Support Coordination to NDIS Participants since the early stages of the NDIS rollout in the Goulburn Region, back in 2018.

Since then, we have grown to now be providing service to participants across the Mitchell, Murrindindi, Strathbogie and Greater Shepparton regions.

What is Support Coordination?

Support Coordination is capacity-building assistance to implement all the supports in your NDIS plan. This includes informal, mainstream, community and funded supports.

This means, that if you have funding for a Support Coordinator in your plan, a member of our team can help you understand and use your plan to connect to all the services and supports you need to meet your NDIS goals. We work with participants and their families and carers to build confidence and increase your control over your own life. We want you to live your 'Biggest Life Possible!'

Our Support Coordination Team

Christie has worked at Goulburn Options for 5 years in Support Coordination, setting up the department when the NDIS was first rolled out in the region.

Christie has a passion for assisting participants and their families to reach their goals - she has a never give up attitude with well-developed experience managing complex needs and navigating the NDIS system. Christie has assisted many participants during changes and declines in circumstance. Christie has developed a strong network and understanding of how to navigate barriers that participants may face. Christie draws on strong management experience to work directly with the Support Coordination team and General Manager to further expand Support Coordination services.

"I feel very lucky to be a part of the amazing team at GO, where all of us have the same core values. Our participants and their families are #1!"

Rebecca has been employed with Goulburn Options for three years. Rebecca adopts a strong participant-centered approach that is underpinned by working closely with participants and their nominees to identify capacity building opportunities.

Rebecca's key management strength is planning. She utilises this to help participants identify and articulate their short-term and long-term goals. Working collaboratively wherever possible, Rebecca assists participants to feed these goals into the NDIS planning, reporting and review process.

"My favourite part of working at GO is that the organisation's values of diversity, equity and capability align with my own personal values. I feel my feet firmly planted in this sector and am committed to helping participants to achieve their goals."

Linda is the newest member of our growing Support Coordination team, having joined us initially as Administration Support, but quickly developing into a skilled Support Coordinator. Linda brings to our team her strong administrative background and a warm, welcoming personality.

Linda is continually developing her knowledge of he NDIS system, and the Support Coordination role, and is an integral part of our team.

"I feel so incredibly proud to be a part of this growing team, where we share the same values and are committed to providing quality, capacity building support services to our participants and their families."
