Chief Executive Officer
Debbie Mitchell
Debbie recently joined Goulburn Options as Chief Executive Officer in August 2024.

Debbie has an extensive history in the disability, aged care and community health sector, including several executive and CEO roles in the Northern Corridor.
​
Debbie is committed to business and quality improvement by investing in systems-led enhancements which delivers service efficiency and ensures Goulburn Options has a sustainable long-term future in the Goulburn Valley region and beyond.

General Manager
Megan Montgomery
Megan began her career at Goulburn Options in 2005 when she completed her Year 12 certificate. Megan was initially employed as an Administration Trainee Assistant and whilst engaging with various participants during this role, Megan discovered her life passion of supporting people with disability.
Throughout her employment, Megan has undertaken direct care work in all services and held various positions. She has completed education and training including Business Administration, Certificate IV in Disability and Advanced Diploma of Disability Management and has a special interest in Behaviour Support.

Business Manager
Rebecca Staring
Rebecca has devoted the entirety of her working career to Goulburn Options after joining the organisation at the age of 18. Rebecca has over 22 years of experience in the disability sector and is the longest standing employee of Goulburn Options.
​
Beginning her employment as an Administration Trainee, Rebecca has worked across all areas of the organisation, including direct care in Day Programs, Flexible Supports, Short-Term Accommodation, and Supported Independent Living. With Rebecca’s exceptional work ethic, dedication, and her many years of accumulated knowledge, she is truly a valuable asset to the Goulburn Options team.

Rebecca has seen Goulburn Options grow from 19 participants and 10 employees in 2001, to currently over 90 participants and 75 employees.

“The majority of my role at Goulburn Options is sitting behind a desk, however I look forward to those moments when I get to engage face-to-face with participants and their families and support them to implement their plans to achieve their ‘biggest life possible.’”

Accommodation and Living Team Leader
Christie Gross
Christie has worked at Goulburn Options for 5 years in Support Coordination, setting up the department when the NDIS was first rolled out in the region. She has now moved across to become our Accommodation and Living Team Leader.
Christie has a passion for assisting participants and their families to reach their goals - she has a never give up attitude with well-developed experience managing complex needs and navigating the NDIS system. Christie has assisted many participants during changes and declines in circumstance. Christie has developed a strong network and understanding of how to navigate barriers that participants may face. Christie draws on strong management experience to work directly with the Support Services Team and General Manager to further enhance GO services.

Programs and Community Team Leader
Brittany Jones
Brittany started her career at Goulburn Options in 2015 in direct care work; whilst working at Goulburn Options Brittany has taken part in different roles and is now Programs and Community Team Leader. Brittany has completed education and training including Certificate IV in Disability and Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management.
'Working as Programs and Community Team Leader, I enjoy being able to support and guide our participants to achieve successful outcomes, both great and small. I also enjoy working alongside a team of staff who are passionate about providing participants with opportunities to live their ‘biggest life possible.'

Finance Officer
Naomi Dudley
Naomi began working at Goulburn Options in 2019 in the role of Business Services Assistant. Naomi has a Diploma in Accounting and has completed her Certificate IV in Disability.

Finance Administration Assistant
Siobhan Thornberry
Siobhan has recently joined the Goulburn Options Business Services Team as Administration Assistant. Her main background is in banking, in which she thrived in customer service, and making a difference in people's lives. She now brings her highly valuable skillset here to GO.

Business Administration Assistant
Amanda Peart
Amanda has recently joined the Goulburn Options Business Services team as Administration Assistant. Her main background has been in the medical field, with a strong focus on positive customer experience. Amanda has completed her Certificate III in Business Administration, and she now brings her administration skillset to GO.

Business Services Officer
Jade Parker
Jade is currently assisting the Business Services and Finance team. She has 15 years accounting background as well as Quality Systems, design and management. She has previously worked as a Support Worker and Systems Coordinator with disability services in NSW roles she felt a great passion for. When the opportunity to work at Goulburn Options presented itself, Jade was keen to join the team.

Support Services Assistant - Participant Management System
Bill Staring
Prior to joining Goulburn Options, Bill spent almost a decade as a groundskeeper whilst also travelling and studying. He started his role as Support Services Assistant in June 2022, where he focusses on participant and employee programming, along with inputting information into the client management system.
​
Bill has found the position both challenging and rewarding, as the position is extremely dynamic in nature - changes occur by the minute. As his role pertains to the needs and goals of participants, Bill finds achievement in these aspects satisfying and fulfilling.

Programs and Community Officer
Brylie Bittles
Brylie has been working at Goulburn Options for almost 3 years. When she first began it was as a trainee, completing her Certificate IV in Disability. Soon, she was directly supporting many participants in Group Programs, SIL and Flexible Supports.
​
In October 2023, Brylie took on the role of Support Services Assistant - Outcomes, before becoming Programs and Community Officer in early 2024, where she continues to learn about all aspects of the disability sector - not just direct care. Before Goulburn Options, Brylie wasn't sure what she wanted to do with her work life until a family friend suggested she try disability support work. She has loved it ever since.

Support Services Assistant - Admin
Danielle Gallien
Danielle has recently joined the Goulburn Options Support Services Team as Administration Assistant. Previously, Danielle has completed a Bachelor of Business, and joins GO from a background of medical administration. Danielle is new to the team, but no stranger to GO - she grew up helping her Grandma at the GO Again Op Shop during the school holidays.

Accommodation and Living Officer
Bridget Shields
Bridget has been working here at Goulburn Options for 2.5 years. She began as a Disability Support Worker, and has recently taken up the role of Accommodation and Living Officer, alongside Team Leader Christie Gross. ​
​
Bridget is born and bred in Seymour, and is now raising her own family here. Her main background is hospitality management, through which she gotten to see some beautiful places in Australia. After having her children, Bridget wanted to get back into the workforce, but had lost a lot of confidence. A good friend gave her the courage and self-belief to apply at Goulburn Options, and she is now happy to report that it has been the best decision of her life.

Bridget is very passionate, dedicated and excited to be a part of the GO community and to make a difference in the lives of people with disability.

OP Shop Coordinator
Deb Williamson
Deb began as an instructor at Goulburn Options in September 2008, but has been employed in the health/disability sector for almost 25 years. She has completed her Certificate IV in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Disability, and an Advanced Diploma of Management.
​
Deb founded the Ragz Program in 2010, using unsellable clothing from our Go Again Op Shop, to make rags for local businesses. This began with just one bag a week, but, prior to the pandemic, reached a peak of over forty bags a month.
​
In 2017 Deb accepted the role as Program Assistant, undertaking administration tasks two days a week supporting Megan and Mandy. In 2018, Deb and Brittany shared the role of Disability Support Services Leader, supporting Megan with timetabling, respite, outing, and the Goulburn Options On Call phone. This became a full-time position for both.
​
In 2020, Deb was offered the position of Coordinator of the Goulburn Options Go Again Op Shop. She now oversees 30 volunteers, and the management of running the business, all while supporting participants to engage in a workplace environment within the community.
​
"It's a very rewarding role, working supporting our participants to achieve successful outcomes great and small. I am very passionate about providing a quality service for our participants and our Op Shop. I work with an amazing team of volunteers who always go above and beyond in every aspect of their role, making Go Again a profitable, and enjoyable business for all."

Support Services Assistant - TAC
Suzanne Hunter
Suzanne moved to Seymour when she was 12 years old. Her partner is a local plumber born in Seymour. Suzanne has four beautiful children and nine grandchildren. She has previously worked at Woolworths for 10 years, then as a lifeguard/swim teacher for 14 years at the Mitchell Shire Leisure Centre in Seymour. Suzanne studied Nursing at Seymour TAFE, then worked at Barrabill House for 3 years, before joining Goulburn Options. She has now been here for 7 years.

Suzanne enjoys seeing the pleasure in all participants, whichever activity they participate in. Now, getting an opportunity to gain experience in an administration role, as TAC Assistant is great! Suzanne is dedicated to her job. She loves learning new things and helping all staff and participants to achieve outcomes.

Outcomes Team Leader
Grace Coppinger
Grace began working at Goulburn Options in June 2022, and has been taking every opportunity to learn as much about the disability sector as she can. Grace was drawn to Goulburn Options' exceptionally positive environment, and the everyday emphasis placed on our core values: diversity, equity, and capability. Her previous roles in the organisation - Administration Trainee, Outcomes Assistant and Executive Assistant (working closely with the executive and quality management teams) - have provided an excellent base of knowledge which she hopes to bring to the Outcomes Team Leader role.

Grace has previously achieved a Bachelor of Arts, and is now qualified with her Certificate IV in Disability.
She is as excited as she is proud to be a part of the Goulburn Options community.
