This week, Goulburn Options Group Programs are in full swing after a short break for the Christmas period. Monday to Friday, 9am-3pm, participants are back, heading into GO from all over the Mitchell Shire. Our locations are once again bustling with activity as we gear up for another fantastic year!
We asked some of our participants about what they were looking forward to in 2024.
Megan D is back at GO for another year. "I liked the holiday programs. It was so much fun!"
Megan is also excited to start her weekly schedule again. Her favourite parts of GO are seeing her friends and participating in her programs. Megan especially loves Retail Arts and Crafts -- on Monday, the group made some awesome placemats and caught up after the break. "It was a very fun day," she said.

Lisa S loves craft as well, and really enjoys her weekly Women's Shed Program. One word to describe Women's Shed? "Good!" Lisa is also looking forward to getting back to her routine overnight respites. On respites, her favourite thing to do is cook a delicious meal for dinner.
Goulburn Options has many big plans for 2024 -- as our service continues to grow, so too does the opportunity to expand our programs. We are constantly checking in with our participants to find out what activities they are interested in, what new goals they would like to achieve, and what new skills they would like to work on.
Our Participant Voice Group regularly meets with CEO, Melinda Burgess, and Board Chair, Tony Gooden, to discuss the future of GO. This group will continue to meet in 2024, offering everyone a chance to have their say.

We encourage everyone in our community to keep their eyes peeled for future updates and exciting announcements from GO, especially from GO Woodwork and GO Art -- some of our most popular programs. Alongside Literacy and Key Word Sign, these groups have big things in store this year! To make sure you see announcements as soon as they happen, follow GO Woodwork and GO Art on social media:
