Hi everyone, welcome to another monthly recap blog post! With November now behind us we're heading into the final stretch of the year. Where did 2026 go?!?!
Thank you, Bev!
This month, a familiar face was highlighted in the Seymour Telegraph: Bev Edwards reached her 35-year milestone as a volunteer at the GO Again Op Shop. We celebrated Bev at our AGM in October, but in November, the word got out around town. The write up in the Telegraph really captured Bev's long history of giving back, her dedication and passion for her work. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you again, Bev, for all your time supporting Goulburn Options!

GO Again Op Shop
Speaking of the Op Shop, GO Again got in the Christmas Spirit early, and decorated for Christmas this month. Check out the awesome display! We're got so many awesome sales happening in the lead up to Christmas, so make sure you drop in to Shop 5/115 Anzac Avenue to get your shopping done -- bargains, and supporting local, what more could you want?

Susan's First Solo Show
Beginning on Saturday 29th November (and still going strong until Friday 5th December) GO Artist Susan Meadows will be hosting her first ever solo art show, right here at the GO Gallery Space at 16-18 Station Street, Seymour. The debut exhibition is called Cosmic Dreamscapes and highlights Susan's iconic alien characters and linework, all with their own imaginative backstories and symbolism.
So much hard work has gone into creating this show through the month of November -- and what an awesome outcome!!

Excursion to the Wizarding World
This month, the GO Literacy Group took an excursion to the Harry Potter Exhibition in Melbourne. The crew had an awesome time with the interactive exhibits, checking out the props and costumes from the movies and spending a day in the city with friends.

Independent Living Skills
GO's Look Good, Feel Good Program is all about building independence by learning about hygiene and everyday living skills so we can look after our bodies, our homes and our health. In November, participants of the Look Good Feel Good Program practice making a bed, washing sheets, folding hospital corners and wrestling with those pesky fitted sheets. The team had a lot of fun cheering each other on!

BLP Awards
As always, our monthly Biggest Life Possible Award Winners were awarded for the month just gone. October's winners were:
Shelley K - Quality of Life
Andrea H - Quality Practice
Hayley E - Quality of Life
Mel C - Quality Employment
Congratulations all, the awards were very well deserved.

Well, that's all for another month. Don't forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date between blog posts! Until then, see you in December!!
