NDIS Plan Change: Funding Periods

For all new, and reassessed NDIS Plans, the NDIS have been introducing 'funding periods.'

The key change is that now, instead of your NDIS Plan money being available in a lump sum, it will now be divided up into time period blocks (monthly, 3-monthly, 6-monthly). These blocks have certain rules about when you can and cannot access your money.

This is a very big change to the way you have to consider and balance your supports. To help you navigate this change, we held an in-person question and answer information session in October.
