February: another fantastic month at Goulburn Options! Whilst we've continued to battle some serious heat, there's been lots of opportunities to get creative (and stay cool!) in programs and supports.
Out and About
Weekends at GO have been full of adventure this month, with participants heading out across the state to make the most of everything on offer.
Andrew enjoyed a trip to Shepparton where he hit the bowling lanes, explored local sights and soaked up a change of scenery.
Meanwhile, Davis ventured into the city for an action-packed day at Metart, followed by the ultimate challenge at Adventure Rooms, putting his problem-solving skills and teamwork to the test.
These outings are all about building independence, confidence and community connection, and it's been fantastic to see participants embracing new experiences and creating great memories along the way.

Welcome
This month, we're pleased to announce that the vacant Programs and Community Team Leader Position, previously held by Kacie Graham who is now permanent Services Manager, has been filled! In March we will welcome Tanya Begley to the GO Team. We're so excited for the knowledge and passion Tanya will be bringing with her to the GO Team.
Farewells
This month, Goulburn Options farewells Accommodation and Living Team Leader, Christie Gross, and Accommodation and Living Practice Leader, Bridget Shields. We thank both Bridget and Christie for their contributions to our organisation over the years and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
Ability Me
In partnership with The Centre for Continuing Education, the Goulburn Options Literacy Group has begun a new course! The Ability Me program is tailor made to meet the needs of our participants and upskill the crew in areas such as Literacy, Numeracy and Job Readiness! Every Wednesday is now Ability Me! day at The Centre and already the group has come leaps and bounds!

Wedding Sale
The GO Again Op Shop was running a sale right through the end of February: Wedding Dresses! For this sale, our participants managed the marketing and put together a Wedding Dress Photo Shoot to advertise on the GO Again Op Shop Facebook Page. Amazing work ladies!

Rotary Auction
Friends of GO, the Rotary Club of Seymour held their Chairty Golf Day in partnership with the Seymour Golf Club this month. GO Participant Hannah proudly donated her artwork 'Vase of Flowers' to be auctioned for the event. Rotarian Chris Bence was delighted to be the winning bidder for $120!
The money raised from the auction goes to Rotary's main projects: bushfire relief and "Say No to Domestic Violence."
What a way to support our community, Hannah!
