Chief Executive Officer
Melinda Burgess
Melinda has been the CEO at Goulburn Options since September 2021.
Prior to Goulburn Options, she was the CEO at Menzies Support Services in Alexandra for several years after her family undertook a tree-change from Melbourne in 2017. This came after the sale of her RTO business, which she founded in 1999, and operated until it was sold in 2014. Melinda's RTO provided training in Aged Care, Disability Work and Nursing.
Melinda is passionate about staff development and training, and in building teams. She is dedicated to working with the Goulburn Options team to deliver upon our vision of the "biggest life possible" for our participants.

Business Manager
Rebecca Staring
Rebecca has devoted the entirety of her working career to Goulburn Options after joining the organisation at the age of 18. Rebecca has over 22 years of experience in the disability sector and is the longest standing employee of Goulburn Options.
Beginning her employment as an Administration Trainee, Rebecca has worked across all areas of the organisation, including direct care in Day Programs, Flexible Supports, Short-Term Accommodation, and Supported Independent Living. With Rebecca’s exceptional work ethic, dedication, and her many years of accumulated knowledge, she is truly a valuable asset to the Goulburn Options team.
Rebecca has seen Goulburn Options grow from 19 participants and 10 employees in 2001, to currently over 90 participants and 75 employees.
“The majority of my role at Goulburn Options is sitting behind a desk, however I look forward to those moments when I get to engage face-to-face with participants and their families and support them to implement their plans to achieve their ‘biggest life possible.’”

Outcomes Manager
Megan Montgomery
Megan began her career at Goulburn Options in 2005 when she completed her Year 12 certificate. Megan was initially employed as an Administration Trainee Assistant and whilst engaging with various participants during this role, Megan discovered her life passion of Supporting People with Disability.
Throughout her employment, Megan has undertaken direct care work in all services and held various positions. She has completed education and training including Business Administration, Certificate IV in Disability and Advanced Diploma of Disability Management and has a special interest in Behaviour Support.

Living Coordinator
Diane Sloley
Diane has 15 years of experience in the Disability Sector, eight of which have been spent with Goulburn Options. She began at GO as a support worker, but has also worked in the finance and payroll department before recently taking on her new role of Support Services Coordinator, working across Day Programs, Accommodation and In-Home Services to provide quality supports.
Diane has a background of finance and administration work across a wide range of industries. She loves seeing participants achieve their goals, and increase their personal independence, as well as being part of the Goulburn Options team.

Disability Services Coordinator
Brittany Jones
Brittany started her career at Goulburn Options in 2015 in direct care work; whilst working at Goulburn Options Brittany has taken part in different roles and is now Disability Service Coordinator. Brittany has completed education and training including Certificate IV in Disability and Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management.

OP Shop Coordinator
Deb Williamson
Deb began as an instructor at Goulburn Options in September 2008, but has been employed in the health/disability sector for almost 25 years. She has completed her Certificate IV in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Disability, and an Advanced Diploma of Management.
Deb founded the Ragz Program in 2010, using unsellable clothing from our Go Again Op Shop, to make rags for local businesses. This began with just one bag a week, but, prior to the pandemic, reached a peak of over forty bags a month.
In 2017 Deb accepted the role as Program Assistant, undertaking administration tasks two days a week supporting Megan and Mandy. In 2018, Deb and Brittany shared the role of Disability Support Services Leader, supporting Megan with timetabling, respite, outing, and the Goulburn Options On Call phone. This became a full-time position for both.
In 2020, Deb was offered the position of Coordinator of the Goulburn Options Go Again Op Shop. She now oversees 30 volunteers, and the management of running the business, all while supporting participants to engage in a workplace environment within the community.
"It's a very rewarding role, working supporting our participants to achieve successful outcomes great and small. I am very passionate about providing a quality service for our participants and our Op Shop. I work with an amazing team of volunteers who always go above and beyond in every aspect of their role, making Go Again a profitable, and enjoyable business for all."

Business Services Assistant
Naomi Dudley
Naomi began working at Goulburn Options in 2019 in the role of Business Services Assistant. Naomi has a Diploma in Accounting and has completed her Certificate IV in Disability.
'Goulburn Options to me, was a new beginning and I've enjoyed every moment of my time here. I not only work in the office, but also one on one with participants in our respite units which has been a fabulous experience for me, and a great way to give back to the staff and participants who welcomed me into the Goulburn Options family.'

Team Leader/Support Coordinator
Christie Gross
Christie has worked at Goulburn Options for 4 years in the Support Coordination role, setting up the department when the NDIS was first rolled out in the Goulburn Region.
Christie has a passion for assisting participants and their families to reach their goals, whilst having fun along the way! She has a never give up attitude and usually doesn't stop until the desired outcome has been achieved. With well-developed experience managing complex needs and navigating the NDIS system, Christie has assisted many participants during changes and declines in circumstance. Christie has developed a strong network and understanding of how to navigate barriers that participants may face.
Christie draws on strong management experience and has expanded GO Support Coordination to the Mitchell, Murrindindi and Strathbogie Shires. Christie is working directly with the Support Coordination team and Goulburn Options CEO Melinda Burgess to further expand Support Coordination services in 2022. Particularly into Mitchell Shire's Southern corridor, Northern Hume and Strathbogie.

Support Coordinator
Rebecca Board
Our Support Coordinator Bec has been employed with Goulburn Options for 2 years. Rebecca adopts a strong participant centered approach that is underpinned by working closely with participants and their nominees to identify capacity building opportunities.
Rebecca's key management strength is planning. She utilises this to help participants identify and articulate their short and long term goals. Working collaboratively wherever possible, Rebecca assists participants to feed these goals into the NDIS planning, reporting and review processes.

Disability Services Assistant
Jade Parker
Jade is currently assisting the Support Services Coordinators and working with the Quality Management team. She has 15 years accounting background as well as Quality Systems, design and management. She has previously worked as a Support Worker and Systems Coordinator with disability services in NSW roles she felt a great passion for. When the opportunity to work at Goulburn Options presented itself, Jade was keen to join the team.

Training and Development Leader
Amy Forcier
Amy started working in Disability Support Services in 2003. During this time, she has worked across a range of services, including Day Services, Residential Services, and Respite Services. In 2006, Amy completed a Certificate IV in Disability and has completed numerous trainings and workshops throughout the years to further develop her knowledge and practice. In 2014, Amy became a member of the Goulburn Options Team, and the Goulburn Options Community.
"I undertake a dual role as Training and Development Leader and Support Worker. The work we undertake at Goulburn Options is at times challenging, yet rewarding. Sharing experiences, ideas, and support strategies and knowing that I have been a part of supporting a person's growth and learning is extremely satisfying."

Support Coordinator
Linda Cafasso
Linda is new to our growing Support Coordination team, joining us recently as Administration Support. Linda brings to our team her strong administrative background, and a warm, welcoming personality. Linda is continually developing her knowledge of the NDIS system, and the Support Coordination role, and is an integral part of our team.

Creative Arts Coordinator
Mandy Gloede
Mandy started working in the Disability Sector in Warrnambool in 2002, where she also studied a Diploma of Visual Arts. After moving back to the Seymour area in 2010, Mandy started a casual role at Goulburn Options. In 2011 she established the GO Art Program which has grown steadily each year. She has curated several art exhibitions for Goulburn Options, lifting the profile of Goulburn Options artists in the community.
"I'm interested in participants expressing their individuality through artmaking. Everyone has a unique style and visual language. For me, watching that style develop through learned knowledge, experience, and experimentation with different mediums and concepts is very exciting."

Administration Assistant
Shannon Inness
Shannon has recently joined the Goulburn Options Business Services Team as an Assistant, and Shannon's primary role is in Human Resources. Our organisation is in a period of large growth, and with Shannon's strong, diverse administrative background, her eagerness to challenge herself, and to develop her skill-set, she is and will continue to be an integral part of the Goulburn Options Business Team.

Support Services Assistant
Bill Staring
Prior to joining Goulburn Options, Bill spent almost a decade as a groundskeeper whilst also travelling and studying. He started his role as Support Services Assistant in June 2022, where he focusses on participant and employee programming, along with inputting information into the client management system.
Bill has found the position both challenging and rewarding, as the position is extremely dynamic in nature - changes occur by the minute. As his role pertains to the needs and goals of participants, Bill finds achievement in these aspects satisfying and fulfilling.

Executive Assistant
Grace Coppinger
Grace began working at Goulburn Options in June 2022, and has been taking every opportunity to learn as much about the disability sector as she can. Grace was drawn to Goulburn Options' exceptionally positive environment, and the everyday emphasis placed on our core values: diversity, equity, and capability.
Grace has previously achieved a Bachelor of Arts, and is currently studying a Certificate IV in Disability.
She is as excited as she is proud to be a part of the Goulburn Options community.
