Goulburn Options is proud to offer our participants opportunities for Short Term Accommodation (STA) , Medium Term Accommodation (MTA), and Supported Independent Living (SIL).

Short Term Accommodation

Sometimes held out of our Independent Living Units located right here in Seymour, but also in cabins, motels and other local accommodation facilities, our Short Term Accommodation programs can support you to build your Independent Living Skills with a 1:1 ratio of support. Through Short Term Accommodation programs gain better access to your community, as well as social and recreational activities in line with your NDIS Plan goals.

Medium Term Accommodation

Medium Term Accommodation is a program designed to see our participants through a transitional phase from one setting to another. For example, if you're moving out of your family home and into a permanent accommodation, you may be supported in Medium Term Accommodation for up to three months. As with Short Term Accommodation, Medium Term Accommodation takes place with a 1:1 ratio of support in out Independent Living Units, as well as across other local accommodation facilities.

Supported Independent Living

As opposed to Short and Medium Term Accommodation, Supported Independent Living (SIL) programs with Goulburn Options sees our participants supported 24/7 in their permanent accommodation. SIL Supports enable our participants to live independently - support is different for each participant, based on their particular needs, and may include an inactive or active overnight component.

(SIL Funding is additional to your NDIS plan and needs to be quoted by GO for approval by the NDIS.)
